As a 6 year old, I remember lying down with my head on my mother’s lap, nudging her for one last story as I struggled to keep myself from drifting away to sleepland.

And as she would begin telling the “fourth or the fifth last” story of the day, I’d instantly imagine myself as a character in it. In one, I was the little shepherd girl who would walk across a strange meadow only to meet several talking animals on the way to rescue a lost lamb. In another, I would have super powers to save the world from a scary monster.

Looking back, I realize that my imagination and curiosity took me to places - both real and imaginary - while I sat or lied idly on my bed in my tiny house.

Every child’s world is full of such boundless, wild and free-spirited dreams. And these dreams are precious for they not only fuel their play and adventures but also help them discover new ideas and perspectives.

We design and create to encourage children to read more, tell their own tales, daydream the most incredible tales and set out on little adventures in the most comfortable and elegant fits!
